Description:
Fade to Black BBS started out as "Treasure Chest", and later became "Fade To Black" once its sysop became a die hard Metallica fan. It also was named "Fade to Gold" when it merged with "Heart of Gold".
The BBS died around 1997, due to a hard disk failure. Activity had dwindled due to internet popularity, so it was not worth reviving.
