 E-mail Address Obfuscation

You may have noticed now that e-mail addresses shown on the web 
site are now being placed inside little red boxes.  This is an 
attempt to keep most spammers off BBSmates..  These red boxes are
actually dynamically-generated PNG format images, containing the
user's e-mail address. This way it's very hard for any spammer to
"harvest" e-mail addresses from the web site.

If anyone out there has any other privacy or security concerns 
about the web site, please contact me.  thanks!

 Chicago Area BBS Reunion

An enormous Chicago region reunion is in the works. This is going
to be held for every Sysop and BBS user in the Chicagoland area, 
regardless of what BBS or DDial you a member of. So, if you live or
used to live in the Chicago area, and would be interested in 
attending, please visit the thread below to get involved and help 
plan out the event!
