 BBSmates IRC Chat

BBSmates Chat is back!!  I know the old web based chat on the site
didn't fly too well, so I've decided to try again using an IRC 
server.  I really want everyone to check this out so we can start
building up a real community here.

You can access the "chat room" from one of 3 ways..

1) From the website, using the web-based IRC java applet. Just go
to http://www.bbsmates.com/chat.asp to get started. Once you've
connected, be sure to click the "Join" button, and enter "bbsmates"
for the channel name then click OK.

2) From the BBS. Telnet to BBSmates.com, log in, and chose "C" for
BBSmates IRC Chat from the main menu. This will automatically log 
you into the IRC chat room through a BitchX-style IRC Door program.
I got rid of the ZChat door to replace it with this one, which is 
much nicer in my opinion.

3) From your favorite IRC client, such as mIRC. If you are unfamiliar
with IRC, you can download mIRC from http://www.mirc.com.. Just 
install it, then add a server pointing to "irc.bbsmates.com". Once 
connected, type "/join #bbsmates" to get into the correct chat room.

Just so you all know, all three of these methods connect to the 
same chat room..
